Plan28 t-shirts available!

The super talented Sydney Padua of 2d Goggles has designed a T-shirt to help raise funds for Plan28.org The T-shirts are available in the UK and US for men and women and feature the design below. We've got ours... are you sporting one this summer?

Research for Episode 2

We went to the National Coal museum in Yorkshire to research episode 2. I took some photos please see below. It is a great museum that is free, we happily donated a couple of quid, and you can also go down a shaft and into the mine, gulp. Anyway we got a real feel for the life of a miner and also some background plates. I would highly recommend the museum and can find the link here.

Episode 2 script completed

We have received Episode 2 script with the tagline "...it's not malpractice, it's working practice..." from the wonderful and very talented Jonathan Ward. He has created a fantastic story that will be featuring Kit 'Jack Union' Cox. Jonathan is a prolific writer and you can find some of his amazing work here.  He also has a Facebook page for one of his lead characters, the detective Byron Ambrose, which is well worth a look please click here.

Griffin Armour build

Here's a photo diary of the Griffin build, it took a while as you can see they are many components to the steam armour. While discussing it with Richard 'Crom' Inwood we wanted an medieval inspired suit as the Victorian s were obsessed with that era. This can be seen in the art and literature from those times. You will have to wait to see the final costume(looks better painted!) in episode 1 which will be soon...

'In Conversation' at the Steampunk Convival

The organisers of the Steampunk Convival have generously asked us to give a talk about Geared Cognisance and plan28.org on the 23rd February.  So we'll be having a 'In Conversation' with afew members of the steampunk co-op about the the development of the project and hows it going along with photos and video clips.
